Audience intelligence for Australia

Find your audience.
Understand them. Reach them.

Describe who you want to reach — customers or voters — in plain English. Just Reach finds the exact suburbs they live in, tells you who they are and how to talk to them, and hands you targeting ready for Meta and Google — from whole postcodes down to individual block level for high-resolution audiences. All grounded in the Australian Census.

How it works

From a sentence to a targeting plan in seconds

No audience builder to wrestle, no data team to brief. You describe the audience; Just Reach does the rest.

1

Describe

Type who you want to reach — a kind of person, a customer, a voter, or even just your product. “Renters under 35,” “families likely to buy private health cover,” “a medicinal-cannabis brand.” Just Reach infers the right Census signals for you.

2

Locate & understand

Every suburb in Australia is ranked by how concentrated your audience is, using ABS Census data — with an optional electoral lean or swing overlay. You get a map, a ranked list, and a brief on who they are.

3

Reach

Export the postcodes straight into Meta and Google Ads, get messaging tuned to that audience, and refine in chat — “narrow it to the inner west,” “add high income,” “now write the ad.”

One product, four tools

Everything you need to find and win an audience

Just Reach wraps four specialist tools into one chat. Use them together or on their own.

Audience Locator

Find where your audience lives

Describe an audience and get the Australian suburbs with the highest concentration of it — ranked, mapped, and turned into a copy-paste targeting list.

  • Ranked suburbs with a national concentration score
  • Postcode- and block-level targeting for Meta & Google
  • Exclusions & intersections — “renters but not students”
  • Optional political lean & swing overlay
Try: “organic-food buyers in Brisbane, focused campaign”
Audience Messenger

Understand them & how to talk to them

Get a plain-English brief on who lives in an area — what makes them distinctive, the frame that will land, the tone to use, what to avoid, and where to reach them. Then have it write the message.

  • “What stands out” vs the national average
  • Dominant frame, tone & reading level
  • Channels to reach them — and what alienates them
  • A tuned message, written to fit
Try: “how should I pitch solar to Penrith?”
Geo Mapper

Know any place in Australia

Ask anything about a suburb, electorate, LGA, postcode or city — its Census make-up or its election results — and get the answer with a shareable map. Compare two areas, rank a whole state, or see what makes a place distinctive.

  • Full demographic profile of any area
  • Election results, margins, swing & vs-baseline
  • Head-to-head comparisons & regional rankings
  • Shareable choropleth maps
Try: “compare Bondi and Blacktown by income and age”
Policy & Message Float

Test where your message lands

Describe a policy, a position, or a brand message and see where it wins support and where it risks a backlash — friend vs foe, mapped across the country. Concentration of who’ll love it, weighted by how persuadable each area is.

  • Where it wins votes — and where it costs them
  • Friend ↔ foe map across seats & suburbs
  • Stronghold / battleground / danger zones
  • Works for campaigns and corporate messaging alike
Try: “where does a 4-day work week resonate vs backfire?”

New · Precision targeting

Go below the postcode

A postcode is blunt — it blends high- and low-value pockets together. For your sharpest audiences, Just Reach resolves each matching area to its centroid and a tight targeting radius — block-level precision, the only way to target below postcode resolution on Meta and Google.

Why block level beats postcodes

  • High resolution. Hit the exact streets where your audience concentrates — not the whole postcode around them.
  • Built for tight audiences. Ideal for high-value niches and swing-prone pockets where every dollar of spend counts.
  • Ready to paste. Google Ads proximity format and Meta’s custom_locations API — copy or download, no GIS.
Google Ads — proximity (copied)
(1.0km:-33.888100:151.198700)
(1.0km:-33.880600:151.204400)
(1.4km:-33.901200:151.205800)
(1.0km:-33.879500:151.197900)
Meta — custom_locations (copied)
[{"latitude":-33.8881,"longitude":151.1987,
  "radius":1,"distance_unit":"kilometer"},
 {"latitude":-33.9012,"longitude":151.2058,
  "radius":1.4,"distance_unit":"kilometer"}]

Each line is one targeting area: a centroid and a radius. That’s exactly what lands on your clipboard.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Where does the data come from?
Audiences are located using the ABS 2021 Census, scored at suburb (SA2) level and rolled up to postcodes. Electoral overlays use official AEC and state results plus a structural vote-volatility model. Everything is aggregate and area-based — never individual records.
Is this only for political campaigns?
Not at all. Just Reach is built for any audience — customers or voters. Marketers use it to find buyers and cut wasted ad spend; campaigns use it to find voters. The electoral layer is optional and off by default.
How do the Meta and Google exports work?
Every audience produces a complete postcode list, split into concentration tiers and formatted exactly the way each platform expects — Meta as a clean postcode list, Google with the country prefix it requires. Copy or download, with the in-platform steps included. No API connection needed.
How precise is the targeting?
As precise as the platforms allow. Whole-postcode targeting reaches everyone in the chosen postcodes, weighted toward where your audience concentrates. For sharper work, block-level radius targeting resolves each matching area to its centroid with a tight targeting radius — the finest geographic targeting Meta and Google accept, exported as Google proximity lines and Meta custom_locations.
Do I need any technical or GIS skills?
None. If you can describe who you want to reach in a sentence, you can use Just Reach. Everything — the maps, the rankings, the exports — comes back in plain English.
Can I refine an audience after I run it?
Yes — it's a conversation. “Narrow it to the inner west,” “add high income,” “exclude students,” “now write the ad.” Each message refines the audience already on screen instead of starting over.
